I introduce: No ERP for Me inspired by Goldshire and Elwynn Forest and Not your Average DK on the right. I have been wanting to do a DK color since it came out, but I didn't want to be tooo trendy.

Time Flies!
Has it really been two weeks since my last post? It seems like just yesterday!
Well Stitches South was a great show and I had a good time, but I brought A LOT of stock and so I had quite a bit left over. As you can see I brought the Cherry Tree Hill Semi Solids to the show and they are gorgeous! I had some left over, and all of the colors are up on my website. Cherry Tree Hill is hosting a design contest and the top prize is $1,000 and the payout goes to fourth place.
Since I carry needles and patterns at the shows, I though I would put them up on my website as well, I have the HiyaHiya 9" circular sock needles and I have the Square Needles from Kollage Yarn. They are both pretty darn cool, if you have never heard of them or tried them you might want to get with the times (I mean um... check them out)!
I will be receiving back the dyed yarn from the show tomorrow and I will be putting up all of the colors as soon as I photograph them. For some reason going to Atlanta made me feel... floral. I always think of the the Southern Belle sterotype and Georgia peaches so I didn't fight it. Spring is my favorite time of year and I love tulips and daffodils so you will see a lot of "flower" influences in my work. I enjoy allwoing seasonal things creep into my work.
As far as cool discounts, I offered a show special on a modified version of the Simply Supersock sweater by Sally Melvile.
It comes in a 34", 37.5", 41", and 44". The first 2 sizes uses 4 skeins, and the 41" uses 5 skeins and the largest size uses 6 skeins. I will be putting a kit up on my site for $75 for the smallest two sizes, $100 for the 41" and $125 for the largest size.
For those of you looking for the Short Sleeve Directions:

"March" Colors
So I have the new Wow colors.
This time I took inspiration from The Blood Elves as a Race and my favorite class the Warlock. Adam and I went around and around about what colors are Warlock. I have an undead warlock, so to me, Warlocks are green and purple and blue. I though about putting in some pink for like soul shards, but couldn't bring myself to do another colorway with green and pink (Long Ears and Marshy). Plus I wanted another more subtle color. I used two different purples in this colorway, and I am not sure people will be able to tell immediately. I am hoping this will add depth to the colorway so knitted things will be more elegant, at least that is my intent. So Affliction Anyone? is on the the left and The Other Elf Race is on the right.
The Other Race, (the other WoW color of the month) is based on the preview that I must of watched 100 times before the new races came out. It had a lot of read and gold and pink in it. The colorway also sports some light yellow and grey to kind of highlight the pink and terra cotta and break it up a little.
If you are in the club, go here.
If you just want it, go here.
Lastly, I have some other colors to poke around with, Budding Iris which was a test run for my warlock color way and I didn't think it was "serious" enough and then a colorway I dyed yesterday called Lichen.

Back! WoW Colors!
Arizona is beautiful. I am going to try and move to the Prescott area I think when Adam leaves for Iraq. If you want to read more about my adventures, go to www.cherryyarn.typepad.com-- Cheryl has all the pictures and stories up.
Back to yarn. I am cleaning up all the back orders, and have come up with my next two WoW colors the first is Affliction Anyone? and the second will be The Other Elf Race. I had a lot of time to think about it in the loooonnnnnggggg drive through Nevada.
Anyways, today I am prepping for Stitches South and I am really excited to go. I will put up a coupon for 10% off at Stitches South and if you bring it to me you will be just rewarded.
:)
See ya later.

Married!
(Note: I put this same note up on my homepage)
Hello Everyone!
Adam and I were married this weekend. I am have been reorganizing and getting some more help with the Indie Dyer so order will go out faster and we will just be more efficient.
I am going to take about a week to do some family stuff in hot sunny Arizona. The other half of that dye order will be in the 26th, so as soon as it gets in all dye orders will ship. I haven't forgotten about you I am just waiting on the dye to arrive.

"February" Colors
Hello All
I finally have completed the new February WoW colors. They took me a long time because both areas are complex and there are a lot of colors to draw from in each area. For the Ungoro Crater color I tried to balance between blues and greens and wrestled with how much black and or orange to put in the different colorways. How much green did I really want? The problem with bright green is that it is BRIGHT. I love it, but I am trying to cater to everyone here, it doesn't do me a lot of good to have a bunch of yarn that just I am in love with. I think I struck that chord with the Terra Cotta color I used. I really think that color added a nice touch with out being too orange or too brown.
Then Zangermarsh, omg sooo much blue, fuchsia, and purple. I wanted to get away from tons of blue and purple, I really like the area on the west side where you get the Sporegar rep (or how ever you spell it it!). I liked the touches of light pink. I am not really a pink person myself, but small doses it can be okay.
So here are the pictures of the two colors:
I think next I am going to do a Tanaris color maybe. I had some ideas. I am going to play around with a paladin and warrior color and see if I like the results....

Photo Montage
OK here are all of the photos I have been promising you. I finally broke down and attempted to photograph stuff.
Here is my current project- the Diagonal Wrap. I am using a combination of CTH colors and my own colors and choose Teal as my solid. I am not great at big things, but I am working diligently to complete it in time for the show.
I am pretty happy with the way it has turned our so far.
Next is the "Ideal Sweater" that Debbie and I have been working on. It is entirely knit in the round with cables where the seam would go. I dyed two special colors for it: the Body color is called Morning Rose and the outside color is Bluebell.
Last but not least I have the gloves that I am making for Rae. They are called the Rachu's Illusion Gloves. I am going to make the other one and write up the pattern. Once I do that I will be looking for some people to test knit the pattern.
I rarely write up patterns that I do, because I am so hodge podge. Anyways here are the pix.
